nano-TECH MVPS Coat is a highly specialised premium quality, super-hydrophobic spray on – rise off, hybrid ceramic spray coating formulated for usage on:
Matte: Paintwork
Vinyl: All types of vinyl wraps including matte, satin and gloss
PPF: All types of paint protection films (PPF) including matte, satin and gloss
Satin: Paintwork
MVPS Coat is solvent-free and features dedicated synthetic silicone polymers, excluding gloss enhancers found in our ceramic spray coating (nano-TECH Body Coat), thus making this hybrid ceramic spray coating the ultimate product to use on MVPS surfaces.
Beyond durable hydrophobic properties, MVPS Coat provides effective resistance against fresh tree sap, fresh bird droppings, fresh bug splatter, exhaust soot, brake dust and general road grime, streamlining the washing and drying process, in addition water-spotting is almost non-existent (minimal in harsher conditions) thanks to some clever chemistry.
Formulated to withstand Australia’s harsh weather conditions, this advanced formulation provides a durable medium-term hydrophobic layer of protection for MVPS surfaces. Enjoy up to 6 months durability on all bare MVPS surfaces, can safely be used on MVPS surfaces that have an existing ceramic coating applied that is failing/aging, thus reviving and boosting the hydrophobic properties.
READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING nano-TECH MVPS COAT!
nano-TECH MVPS Coat is a very concentrated ceramic spray coating, it is not your average "Spray Sealant", it requires extra steps and precautions to get the absolute best results from it, failure to follow these steps will result in streaking that is a pain to remove. First & foremost, DO NOT under any circumstances wash, coat and dry your vehicle under direct sunlight or when the bodywork is warm/hot. All bodywork must be in the shade (away from UV) and cool to the touch. Failure to follow this basic instruction will cause lots of streaking. Do not attempt to use MVPS Coat in a "dry application" method or allow to dwell on bodywork as MVPS Coat activates instantly when wet, do not attempt the dry application (wipe on - wipe off) as this product does NOT need to be "layered". Do not spray directly onto rubbers, plastics, metals or glass - only spray onto bodywork.
When using nano-TECH MVPS Coat, work in small sections at a time and do not attempt to do entire panels at once as it will cause streaking, you must work quickly when spraying and rinsing off. For example: when doing a bonnet, only spray no more than 1/4 of the bonnet with MVPS Coat (3-6 sprays max for 1/4 of bonnet), once sprayed with MVPS Coat, pressure wash that section and surrounding sections immediately for a solid 15-20secs, do not let MVPS Coat dwell at all, the longer you let it dwell the higher chance of streaking. Then repeat and proceed to the remaining sections of the bonnet.
With the above said, the proper method to apply nano-TECH MVPS Coat is as follows:
3. Hand wash bodywork very well to remove road grime with nano-TECH Body Cleanse.
4. Optional - Use an vinyl/PPF/matte/satin SAFEiron remover (if you have used one before) and we highly recommend contacting the manufacturer of the vinyl wrap/PPF, Matte/Satin paint to ask them directly what chemicals they approve for decontamination. Then proceed to wash bodywork once more with nano-TECH Body Cleanse to ensure all iron remover residue is gone.
5. Wet one panel very well & then proceed to spray nano-TECH MVPS Coat onto one small section at a time (3-5 sprays for 1/4 of a bonnet, do not try to do half a bonnet in one go, it will most likely streak if you do).
6. Immediately, pressure rinse nano-TECH MVPS Coat off surrounding areas very, very well (a solid 15–20 seconds of rinsing).
7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 until the entire bodywork is done. We recommend rinsing surrounds areas very well as their will always be product "spreading around" as you continue to spray other areas.
8. For Matte & Satin finishes, we stress the importance of: working in small sections at a time, using less product, working QUICKLY & drying off the bodywork as soon as possible upon first application of nano-TECH MVPS coat, doing so will help avoid the chance of water etching/outlines on these finishes. In addition we STRONGLY advise to NOT use this product under direct sunlight including UV (cloudy days as a huge no). Use this product undercover (away from sunlight & UV) or in the early evening (just after sunset) and if possible, use RO/DI water as water outlines are caused by minerals in tap water being exposed to UV and not the product itself.
If you happen to see hard water outlines on matte & satin finish after applying & drying this product, we strongly recommend using nano-TECH MVPS Detailer as instructed immediately in order to re-hydrate & soften the water outlines whilst still fresh to be able to safely wipe them away before minerals (outlines) have a chance to "etch".
9. Immediately dry paintwork very well with a clean & premium quality microfiber drying towel or a premium quality clean & genuine leather drying chamois.
10. Clean glass, lenses, exterior plastic trims & rubbers with Glass Cleanse.
11. Allow nano-TECH MVPS Coat to bond & cure onto bodywork for 12 hours (i.e. try not to get it wet for a day).
* Do not layer nano-TECH MVPS Coat as it is not required.
